The popularity of windows 7 among users is due to windows 7 compatibility with the system, Stability of their user Interface Experience. Additionally, it was compatible with a wide range of hardware and software making it a versatile choice for personal and professional users.

But when Windows 8.1 was released on October 17th, 2013. Windows 8 came with Modern Metro UI, Full-screen start menu with no start button, and a lot of other features But Windows was designed to address some of the criticisms and Bad user feedback. Microsoft introduced Windows 8.1 with new features and improvements such as the reintroduction of the Start button, more customization options for the Start screen, and the ability to boot directly to the desktop. Microsoft released security and features updated windows 8.1 time by time.

At this time Microsoft released their windows versions windows 10 and 11 which have lots of new features improvements and modern UI.

Window 8.1 now looks and feels old Windows 8.1 reached the end of support on January 10, 2023. At this point, technical Support and software updates will no longer be provided by Microsoft.
